Matt Sonneborn

CEO

Matt Sonneborn is the founder and CEO of Songbird Strategies, an AI consulting and software development firm. With 15+ years of experience across SMB, technology, and government, he has advised mission-driven clients, entrepreneurs, and subject matter experts on building sustainable solutions in complex, high-trust markets. Previously, Matt was a senior presidential appointee leading governmental, international, and public affairs at the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. He also held senior roles at the U.S. Small Business Administration, shaping communications strategy and advising on procurement and policy for America’s 30 million small businesses. Over his career, he has led major policy rollouts, supported political campaigns, and ghostwritten 50+ published op-eds and letters for Cabinet Members, Members of Congress, and even Willie Nelson.

Alex Sonneborn

COO

As co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Songbird Strategies, Alexander brings nearly 15 years of experience optimizing performance in SaaS, biotech, and e-commerce. He specializes in leveraging advanced analytics to drive operational efficiency, manage complex cross-departmental workflows, and enable scalable growth. Alexander has held executive roles in multiple startups, including EVQLV and ELUXR, where he led operations and analytics initiatives that directly accelerated business outcomes. He holds advanced degrees in Biostatistics (Columbia University), Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (Stony Brook University), and Business (Zicklin School of Business), providing a rare blend of technical and strategic expertise. His work includes projects such as the spatial analysis of climate change impacts on population distribution and predictive modeling for business development teams.

Daniela Hirsch

VP Product

Daniela comes with a decade of experience building products for tech companies and is currently focused on the future of AI-driven product development, exploring how intelligent agents and adaptive interfaces will redefine user experience. She believes the next wave of products will move away from complex flows and large teams toward streamlined, self-evolving systems centered on a single point of interaction. Interfaces will shrink while intelligence scales, transforming static apps into dynamic systems that learn, respond, and serve users in real time.

Her past and current work in AI includes the AI Writer at Wix (2021), developing AI for Content Design at Melio (2023), BI Co-Pilot at Sisense (2024), leading product at Aura, an AI Financial Coach (2025), contributing to a stealth GovTech startup (2025), designing SignalProof’s PR intelligence layer (2025), and Orez, a photo fraud agent (2025).
